XR3T-1

XR3T1 – Muscle Recovery and Pain/Scar Tissue Reduction System

The XR3 T1 is manufactured by the ATA Revitalization Institute and uses FDA approved technology.  It employs the science of photobiomodulation, which uses photochemistry (light energy of various wavelengths and illumination parameters) to produce a biochemical reaction in cells and tissue.   There is no heat, sound, or vibration energy used as in other modalities.  Photons are absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase, leading to the displacement of nitric oxide.  This leads to, among other things, a reduction in oxidative stress and an increase in ATP production in cells.  This painless and highly effective procedure is implemented using the ATA Protocol which was established by ATA through their ongoing clinical research.

  • Upregulation of the cyclic AMP molecule and upregulation of stimulatory and protective genes
  • Increased vascular drainage and lymphatic drainage
  • Increased cellular protein production, enzymatic activity, cytokines and growth factors
  • Positive effects on intracellular and extracellular ph
  • The high power density laser cluster gives an analgesic effect by disrupting fast axonal transport in nociceptors, A-delta and C fibers and reduces central sensitization
  • LED and laser clusters

ATA Clinical Applications:

  • Musculoskeletal pain, injury (sprains, strains, bruises) and dysfunction (full range of athletic injuries and other injuries – neck, back, hip, shoulder, ankle, wrist, elbow, knee, arm, leg, etc.)
  • Nerve regeneration
  • Stroke recovery
  • Recovery and restoration of neurologic function after traumatic head or brain injury
  • Decrease in long-term neurologic deficits after head injury
  • Scar and wound healing
  • Pre-op and post-op use for superior control of pain related to surgery
  • Resorption/breakdown of scar tissue for increased mobility and range of motion

Clinical Benefits:

  • Decreased inflammation
  • Decreased edema
  • Improves the speed and quality of tissue repair and healing
  • Potentiation of neurorecovery mechanisms

Analgesic effect (laser cluster)
